A single-card yes/no reading
Ask a clear yes-or-no question in your mind, then draw one card from the full 78-card deck for a large Yes, No, or Maybe verdict. Each card carries a traditional polarity: an Upright card keeps its answer, while a Reversed card weakens it toward Maybe or No. The draw also shows the card, its orientation, and its keyword meaning so you can read the answer in context.
How the verdict is decided
Every one of the 78 tarot cards has a traditional yes/no/maybe leaning — fiery Wands and joyful Cups skew yes, the harsher Swords and difficult Major Arcana skew no, and cards about waiting, indecision, or balance read maybe. An Upright card keeps its base answer; a Reversed card softens it one step toward No, so a reversed card never reads a clean Yes.
Fair random selection
Each draw picks one of the 78 cards uniformly at random, then flips a fair 50/50 orientation when reversed cards are enabled. Rangdom uses the Web Crypto API for random generation, so the next card is not predictable from previous draws. Keep the “Include reversed cards” toggle on for the traditional reading, or turn it off to answer only from Upright cards.
When to use it
Use this for quick decisions, journaling prompts, or a daily yes/no check-in when a single card and a clear verdict is all you need.
