Generate one random amino acid from the 20 standard proteinogenic amino acids, with its three-letter code, one-letter code, and side-chain class (e.g. Histidine (His / H) — Basic (positively charged)). Useful for biochemistry and molecular biology lessons, quizzes, classroom prompts, and flashcard drills.
Fair random selection
Each result is selected with browser randomness from the fixed set of 20 standard amino acids. Rangdom uses the Web Crypto API for random generation so the next result is not predictable from previous results.
