The three outcomes
Every throw is one of Rock, Paper, or Scissors, each with an exactly equal one-in-three chance. Rangdom uses the Web Crypto API for random generation, so each throw is unpredictable and no outcome is favored.
A provably fair throw
People unconsciously favor certain throws and fall into predictable patterns, which a sharp opponent can exploit. A throw chosen with crypto.getRandomValues has no such bias, making it a genuinely neutral way to break a tie.
When to use it
Reach for Rock Paper Scissors to settle a choice between people, break a tie remotely when no physical object is handy, or decide who goes first — anytime you want a fast, fair three-way decision.
