Estimate transfer time from a file size and a connection speed

Enter a file size and a connection speed and read back how long the transfer takes (time = size ÷ speed). The speed unit can be a bit-rate (bit/s, kbit/s, Mbit/s, Gbit/s) or a byte-rate (B/s, kB/s, MB/s, GB/s) — because 1 byte is 8 bits, a 100 Mbit/s connection moves only 12.5 MB/s, the 8× difference that throws off by-hand estimates. So a 4.7 GB file at 100 Mbit/s takes 376 seconds, shown here as 6 min 16 sec. The result is a pure size ÷ speed estimate with no overhead or latency modeling. Non-negative integers and decimals are supported.
